The exhaust bolts are M8-1.25-80mm. Lowes $2.52 a pair, 030699353484. You can also use the 90mm, 030699354986, $2.68 a pair.

The tap/drill for that is $7.98. Lowes 038548993799.

Re: reuseable head bolt question

Found some. But not here or tested, so am not going to post the source just yet. Person on other end said not 'torque to yield', but was obviously one of those 'nightmare' minimum wagers. ...

Re: My next project

j c whitney sells a bed rail mount, and I think LMC does from time to time. I welded up my own as I wanted it in the bed next to the cab. Simple rebar a frame.

Re: tintable truck liner paint

The local Ford part folks do not have a tint code. They just said it is a '2H', which I already knew. Actual tint formulas, they do not have. I am awaiting a reply from Ford also, but not holding...

Researched Sherman Williams, and came...

Re: which trans line?

It did not matter. Used the one from the add-on cooler, going to the trans. It has a rubber hose, and knew I would get a better flush of the radiator without forcing that crap through the trans...

Re: Pinstripe glue

It would have been better if you had used a decal remover disk in a cordless drill.

BTDT. To clear the old adhesive I soaked paper towels in wd40, and laid them on. They stuck due to surface...

Related question.

The 89 drivers seat is modified, with swivel and 'hump cut' to allow the push/pull disabled driver control, on the hump. As is modified, no existing cover will fit.

Does...

Re: Bogging down

Hmmm...

Sounds familiar in a way. I seem to recall a discussion on another forum about a 'one-way' air valve in that area on some models. I have never seen it, and is not on mine.

Have you...
