Mine did the same thing about 2 years ago on the freeway when I went to pass someone and the truck just stolled. Apparently the oil pump went out.

Appreciate it!! Means a lot...it and I have been through hell and back. Trying to get her fixed up but it puts a hurting on the wallet. Especially with all the censors and whatnot.

Eh. I'd have a Ranger before I would any other smaller pickup. Especially considering they last a hell of a lot longer if you take care of them. Toyotas look good but Rangers look better.

Some diesels I believe you can get a small chip for it to make it average 23-28 mpg. A buddy of mine paid $400 for his chip and does better than my 96 ranger. Pitiful lol

Mine do the same. I have the aluminum wheels off a 93 ranger on my 96 and about 2 out of 4 rims look like that. Someone told me to use kerosene on them and then rinse them right after with hot soapy...
