Only had it for about 8 months and has been like that since I have had it. Someone I know has same engine and he said his is no where near as bad as mine?

Lack of power
I have 02 with the 3.0, dual exhaust, auto, 2 w/d, 178000 miles.
Runs and idles great, but lacks power when accelerating. Going up hill is worse speed drops unless I kick it all the way to the floor...

Ok I get it. I have only had the truck a couple of weeks. It is running just a little rough at a lower idle, so that is why I rev it up a little, that is when I noticed around 3000 rpm's it started...

I have a 2002 Ranger XLT 3.0. Sitting in park, when I rev the engine up, about 3000 rpms it hesitates, spits . sputters. Cannot really get it to go much farther. When on the road it is much better,...
