Trans has to be a 97-07 4.2 v6, 88-96 the shifter location is to Far forward. The 97-07 shifter location it dead on, the 4.2 uses the same bell housing design as the pushrod sbf and bolts right up...

I use to work at advance auto and anything with perfection on it is garbage, never sold a clutch without having to warranty it at least once. Have no experience with there performance side aka zoom....

The thing that bothers me is his has been in for a little over 2 months and it still grabs hard and right off the floor lol I have to do something, cause I use the truck to pull a landscape trailer...

93-11 as long as it comes from the same engine...

93-11 as long as it comes from the same engine and it does not need to be 4x4 but if you get a 2wd trans your gonna have to take the extension housing, and output shaft from yours and swap it over
