Alright. Im thinking the two problems might be unrelated. Cleared the code last night so I'm hoping that problem was fixed when I plugged the hose back into the charcoal canister. I'm still thinking...

The hose is dangling next to the shock. Also the bucking is back in overdrive. This problem is frustrating!

I crawled under the truck and found the evap canister had come unhooked. Hopefully that turns off the cel. Not sure if that caused the stumbling or it was two problems altogether

Haha yea true it was odd that it drove fine before..I even drove a ways up the highway yesterday and had no problems. I'm going to check the code when she gets home..I'm guessing a cylinder misfire

Well I thought it was fixed because it didn't stutter anymore, but today my girlfriend took it to work and apparently the check engine came on after the whole truck shook. At least I'll be able to...

It was the coil pack. Replaced it today, and no more stutter. Hopefully this thread helps other guys with the same problem. I plan on changing the tranny filter when it gets warmer too.

I also noticed today on the way to school that the shuddering is much much worse at around 45 mph when it has shifted into overdrive..almost unbearable. Not sure if that changed anything...I plan on...

So I checked the coil pack last night, and the secondary resistance was good, but the primary was around 1.5 ohms, versus the limits of .3 to .9. I'm guessing that's not bad enough to warrant...

I saw that too, so I checked for spark on all my cylinders and everything was good so I don't think its my coil pack.

I forgot to mention that I did check the tranny fluid as well; it was nice and red and had no odd smells. With that being said, I have never personally changed the fluid in the tranny..I've owned it...

I mean overdrive as in my fourth and final gear. This is my first auto Ford too, had always owned manuals before.
