I would recommend wire brush to loose rust and light sanding where practical then POR cleaner/prep then POR15 for best results. It's hard work and expensive but will yield best results.

If I was you I would search a junk yard for 4.10's just check the axle code on the door jam to match em. Definitely go with 4.10's in front you could probably even go with front lockers internet...
