Just spray WD-40 into the door latch, aim the spray toward the outside of the door, then wipe off the excess and slam the door a couple times and see if the light goes out. Do both doors and the...

Re: 2.5L to 351W swap

I am not positive, but I think the 351C or M are considerably wider. They are 90* blocks and the 289 threw 351W are 60*.
Something that will make a V8 swap in any RBV easier is a body lift. Raising...

Re: Best v8?

Certainly, the F150 has a M5OD that bolts to the 302/5.0L V8. So I understand, it has the same ratios as the other M5's minus the ones for the 4 cylinder, (the laters ratios are lower geared in at...

Re: v8 all day

Start with a 3" body lift. You are putting in an engine that is a couple inches wider than a 302, so the lift will give you some clearance.

Re: Best v8?

Why a V8?
In this age of high end v6's, you can get V8 power, (minus a small amount of torque) from a V6 that is going to be a simpler conversion, weighs about a 100# less and will get at least the...

Re: Check Engine Light

I don't understand why you can't use Autozone? The local store does both OBD 1&2. Anyway, for about $30 you can buy an Innova brand code reader model 3145, it only works on 81-95 Fords. Comes with...
