Okay... I was out driving around and my truck stalls. I reset the Inertia Switch and it fired right up. Is it common for the INERTIA SWITCH to go bad.
I have replaced the fuel pump and relay.

I started trouble shooting.
1st - test for codes = P0230 and P0232
2nd - disconnected the fuel pump relay resulting P0230 and P0231
3rd - reconnected the relay and tested again resulting in NO...

I replaced the fuel pump. I was driving around and it dies again. Two dtc codes p0230 and p0232.

weird, I called a couple of auto parts stores and they can't find the relay in their computer systems I called a third store and they have it.
This makes me wonder if my '04 3.0L ranger has a fuel...

P0232 - Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit High

Anyone have code before?

Is the fuel pump relay in the fuse box? or does this code eliminate this problem?

I checked the fuse and everything is good there.
turned the key to check for any fuel pump sound and again no luck.
I lowered the tank and found that I need special tools to remove the fuel...

Yesterday I was driving and my truck dies and engine light turns on.
Engine temp was perfect.
All electrical accessories work.
Engine freely cranks over.
So I turned the key to the off position...

I have 04 edge 3.0l with over 118,000 (lots of road trips) and going strong... well, the fuel pump just went out. But after I replace the pump It will be back on the road. =)
