Scuff plate removal 04 supercab

How do you remove the scuff plate/sill plate( item with RANGER on it) on a 2004 4dr ranger, don't want to break it.

Yeah, that's looks like that might be the only issue. I know the 2 sensors on my 04 are the same part #, I'll have to see if the screw in sensors would plug into my harness
