I know much has been posted regarding this but I am struggling to know how to set the new synchro. I have read many different posts regarding the angle it must be set when at tdc. Some claim it can...

Re: Rough running 2003
I replaced the 4, 5 and 6 fuel injectors (under the upper intake). Engine is improved. Still has a slight backfire and has tripped codes 300, 306 and 316. Any suggestions?

In the last year I've rebuilt the top end (did not replace the injectors), new idle air control valve, crankcase position sensor, camshaft position sensor, ignition coil, plugs and wires.
I've...

engine revs at idle to 2500-3000 rpm. Not consistently. Revs in gear some while driving as well. Surges when I turn heater fan on as well. Will sometimes settle, but not where should. When it...

Re: 2003 head rebuild and engine gasket replacement
I took some pictures. Not enough. The motor mounts are in great condition so I am using the old ones. The one thing I'm not doing is the clutch slave cylinder. I hope I don't regret it.

Re: 2003 code p1336
The sensor can't spin, so I guess I'm referring to the synchronizer housing. Like I said, the bolt had worked its way loose, and I'm trying to determine the correct position. I haven't been able to...

2003 code p1336
I believe the original issue that tripped code p1336 is the fact that the hold down bolt on the camshaft synchronizer had worked itself loose. The synchronizer shaft itself is about 3 years old. I...

The cross pin and yoke (?) has broken. Removed the broken piece but there is some bad knocking. Has anyone rebuilt their differential and do they have any suggestions.

It definitely seems to be belt related. A new belt sounds good for about a month.

front end shake when braking
The steering wheel shakes when braking. Most noticeably at high speeds. I am assuming that this is due to warped rotors. Please advise.
Also, does anyone have any advice for removing the brake...

No, I'm not sure that the tensioner is all that it should be. It is new though. Interesting you should mention the ac. The ac pulley clicks whenever the heat or ac is on. It is loud enough to...

What oil and filter?
I'm new to the 3.0 crowd. I have a 2003 3.0 with 117,000 miles on it. It never missed an oil change. I was just wondering what oil and weight you recommend. In my 94 2.3, which I passed on to a...
