Welcome, yes a lot of parts are interchangeable, depending on which years, there isn't any list I know of interchangeable parts, just get familiar with what changes were made on certain years, for...

Re: Cleaned my stock steel rims
Keep some wax on it, in a year or less it'll fade back (or get close). Keep them looking good.
More time you spend on protecting your paint (or wheels), the less time you have to repair/clean it....

Re: Critique My Truck Thread
Maybe 255, not sure about a lift, I want a little more stance, but it isn't a 4x4. Tires will still be good for another 2 years. 255 r15 for stock height?
Edit: I believe they are 225/65/R15...

Re: Question on hood swapping
Powerdome makes a huge difference, makes my 2WD XLT look more like a 4x4 or mid-size truck (rangers are considered compact trucks).
Too bad the small stock tires + 2WD drive height w/out T-Bars...

Re: Lifted Ranger 2wd trade for 4wd Jeep Grand Cherokee, worth it?
Re-gear+Locker+Winch, You'll end up spending more on that Jeep than what it's worth. I rarely see an anything other than old JKs on the road. An old honda crv w/AWD can do the same a stock jeep(like...

Re: Financing Tires
I would stay near buying two at a time (unless you're not mounting them one by one) just to be safe. Even the same tire can vary depending on when it was made and how old it is.

Maybe new side mirrors, thin mirrors always looked a bit 'off' to me.
Edit: Are those the stock wheels? I rarely see them (they do look good).

Re: Amps upside down.
Common sense, if it's been running fine for a decent period and hasn't died, most likely it has proper cooling, and isn't going to 'die'. Have no coolant in your truck, it will overheat pretty...

Re: Amps upside down.
Just because a manual states it should be mounted upright, does not mean that mounting it another way affects the amp in anyway other than heat dissipation, hot air rises, with is why they suggest to...

Re: Amps upside down.
Mounting it upside down should not be an issue (provided- if you run a/c. But if you're pushing it hard for an extended period of time with no air it'll go into protect mode).
Most class D amps...

Re: replaced with bigger sub, and bigger amp less sound?
Its hard to say what the problem really is, most likely the amp, but details about all your wiring (from battery to sub) would help. How do you have your sub wired to the headunit aswell, which...

Re: replaced with bigger sub, and bigger amp less sound?
A 4 channel amp is for normal speakers usually, not for a sub, you want to match the amp with the woofer, 200rms for both, although 150 can get you close, it depends on the parts, how it's wired,...

I've done it to a ranger before, exhaust sounded the same. Be 100% sure you did it correctly, no one has posted that it made a 'difference' in exhaust sound.... Something doesn't sound right here.

My mistake, you can clear vinyl, but I meant that the 1080 series vinyl shouldn't be clearcoated- it is not the best option for that.

Re: 2004 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0 5speed overhaul
Want more power? Engine Swap, you won't be able to do much with the 3.0L besides the basics everyone stated, but with good gearing, the 3.0L is decent, but don't expect to gain more than 15hp.

^ 'Rims' if you slam it, 15/16inch if you keep it stock or raise it, unless you're making a mud truck.
Edit: Put the money into tires instead of 'rims'
