OH and you can use your jeep rims on the Ranger, if Im not mistaken.
Preformance wise, Underdrive pulleys, CAI mod (FREE!!), and re-gearing to 4.10 will help you out!

Re: Newest of the New Guys
Welcome! Great to have you here.
A PA 3" Bodylift will get you just enough clearance. If you are looking for more, go with blocks in the rear, and lift spindles. All ridiculously cheap and easy

Order a brushless setup ASAP. Get the Traxxas Vlineon waterproof system, a cheap 2s 11.1 volt battery, and some different gearing.
It is PAINFULLY slow out of the box,...

Re: what you guys think about this
If you have NEVER ridden before, and dont plan to go very far, get the 250. But, if you want to keep the bike for a while, get the 500 or the 650. Either way, you just need to have some self control...

Re: what you guys think about this
You would have to uprgade the rear shock, and stiffen the forks. And It will pull 2 people, but not very fast. Get the 500, it is WELL worth it.

Re: Probably a dumb question but...
My 1999 XL had the pods for speakers in the rear, but they were empty. I took my Infinity 5x7's out of the doors and installed them in the back, when I modified the doors to fit my 6x9's.
