Re: '97 Ranger Wiper Cuts Out

See my post above for my 1997, but I replaced the entire switch (which includes the turn signal level.) If yours is an '88, the column configuration is likely different.

Re: '97 Ranger Wiper Cuts Out

When replacing the switch, no need to remove lower panel. It's 3 Phillips-head screws on the shroud, and two T20 Torx screws on the switch. Biggest pain is getting the top shroud out from over the...

Arrow Seat Belt Buckle Failure

So my driver's side seat belt will not latch in the buckle; it keeps popping out. I sprayed a heavy dose of WD-40 inside the buckle, but to no avail. The buckle plate seems to be permanently...

Re: 1997 Fuel Filter Shenanigans

Finally made another attempt a few weeks ago and got the outlet fitting off. Just needed a bit more oomph and wrangling, as MDRide suggested. It was the smaller end of the metal scissor tool, labeled...

1997 Fuel Filter Shenanigans

Well I cannot get the outlet (engine-side) fitting off of the fuel filter and it's driving me bonkers. I was able to do it four years ago at its last filter change with the metal scissor tool:
