Hello I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 3.0 non flex fuel 2wd and I'm having the same check engine codes P0171&P0174 and I've already replaced my plugs,MAF sensor and cleaned my intake and check for leaks...

I have replaced the MAF sensor twice. And I've taken a propane torch all over motor and also used carb cleaner, but i will try ether just to say i have tested for leaks every-way i can.

Still reading the same codes. I replaced the IAC today and did a intake cleaning and throttle body cleaning and fuel system cleaning.

I started the truck with unplugging the MAF sensor and plugging it back in and the trucks been running normally since. The check engine light came back on 10miles down the road. I wonder what it is...

I didn't touch anything but the battery. I'll check again and maybe clean the throttle body and IAC. Maybe the IAC messed up, now that the computer is getting a good coolant reading?

I disconnected the negative on the battery for twenty minutes and now the truck will barely run. It idles so rough it stalls out. I'm really confused, all i did was disconnect the battery!

My trucks a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd Auto 3.0. I checked for leaks with a propane torch first thing today before i did the temp sender i could find anything.

Just got a temp sender sensor. Now i have a temp gauge at this point. I'm wondering if its also connected to my check engine light being on P0171&P0174? I'll have to see and drive it wail.

Well got the cruise working, the cable was disconnected. I did notice a wire tie not a hose clamp on my intake hose right before my MAF sensor. I since have replaced it with a hose clamp. I don't...

Now I've done the coolant temp sensor. Still nothing on gauge. And i exchanged my MAF sensor just to be on the safe side. Still nothing changing.

I just took the truck on a ride for 15mins and i noticed that the temp gauge moved now. It didn't move much but it moved. This tells me that my gauge itself is working its just not getting a full...
