Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread III

Looked at it in the garage .. been driving my beater to keep the salt off of it. Cant wait until spring/summer for fishing and driving without snow and salt on the ground.

Re: Will the ranger ever be a classic?

Not sure if it will be a classic but the ranger body style will always be nostalgic for me. Weird to think it's going on 4 years since it's end, seems like yesterday I bought my new 11 'tear'.

Re: Oil change intervals?

About every 6,000 usually, I've been using valvoline synpower full synthetic from the start. I recently read about how long synthetic oil can actually go. They are saying that 7500-10000 is possible...

I used some Mother's last time, I liked it better than the turtle wax I usually use.

Re: 2011 Ranger Sport front brake issue.

I am at 20k with my 2011 and never have had any problems. I have had the pads changed once, hopefully this isn't a problem with the 11's.

Re: The "what do you hate about your Ranger today" thread

Re: Had Any Compliments On Your Ranger?

There is something to be said about an older truck that has been kept clean/relatively stock. It's always nice to see one that looks almost new.

Re: Sold my Ranger Big mis-take, Thinking Colorado/Canyon

The 5 cylinder is what turned me off to them when looking for a truck, I read the v8 sucks also. The 2015 Colorado is pretty sweet but gonna be expensive new. I would look for an fx4 or something.

Re: Removing dealer sticker from tailgate.

I am glad mine was new, the dealer put some on some type of crappy badge thing that came right off, as did the 4x4 stickers on sides of the bed. I wish I could take the big ford off the middle of the...

Hit 15,000 today, all good so far other than the spark plugs going bad a couple thousand miles back.
