Re: Ranger 2wd Regular Cab 6 cylinder?

With that being said if I ever got a standard cab ranger I would want it with the 7ft bed.

----------

I have seen a few on cars.com usually with the 3.0. Standard cabs 6ft beds autos.

Re: Ranger 2wd Regular Cab 6 cylinder?

I think now you have to go for the 2dr or 4dr extended. I remember back in 08 before they discontinued the 3.0L it was possible. If you went to the build and price option on ford's website. It would...

Just a thought

Before I type anything here I will say this. I don't know if it is true 2011 will be the last year for the ranger. I was just thinking this will suck ass. There is really nothing I can afford that...

Just wondering.

This thread is assuming the possibility the Ford Ranger maybe discontinued after 2011. I am not saying it will or will not be. I am just speculating. I was wondering what you guys will do when it is...

Re: 2012 ranger...? FAIL!!!

A redesign could be a good thing. So long as it doesn't look like crap. Although I wish it could stay the same.

Re: 2010 super cab 2.3 is a good choice?

That is good. If fuel economy doesn't matter then it gives you more freedom to buy what you want in a truck. My only question being if you don't care about fuel economy why not just buy and F-150 or...

Re: Anyone seen military themed Ranger?

I always wanted to put a heavy tripod in the back of my truck. Then mount the M2 .50cal machine gun. Maybe a powered quadruple mount like the World War 2 era M45 .50 AA Half-track. : )

Re: 2010 super cab 2.3 is a good choice?

That information I have is for the 2010 year models. That information is also taken off Ford's official website. http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/ranger/specifications/capacities/

Re: 2010 super cab 2.3 is a good choice?

Even if you tow light loads the I4 is good enough. The fuel economy is the same for both regular cab and 2dr extended. The 2dr extended cab has a large fuel tank at 19.5 gallons vs 17 for regular...

GG I didn't mean to start a war here. I only wanted to really know if anyone has used the chips in the link. I asked in a previous post about cold air intakes. As far as K and N is concerned I see...

Re: Like my ranger maybe want a 2nd one, lol

Here in the USA all new F-250s and up no longer have the manual transmission option. You can still get the ranger in manual with any engine option in the USA still. I was only saying it would be hard...

Re: Like my ranger maybe want a 2nd one, lol

Well are you looking for a brand new one or used? If you go used and want a manual good luck with that. It will be difficult to find. The one I have is an auto although I wanted manual. Everywhere I...

Re: 4dr Ranger

If they ever did have a 4dr ranger. It should keep the 6ft bed. None of that 4ft bed nonsense.

I was just wondering if a cold air intake is worth it. I am mainly concerned about improving fuel economy more than anything. I get 15 city and 19 highway. If anyone that has installed one on their...

Re: Sneaky Cops

I heard in one of the southern states they actually use tractor-trailers. There is a state trooper actually driving the truck. They generally try to catch speeding rigs. The speeders will pass them...

Re: Something has been bothering me for a long time.

My favorite one was a street that only a right turn was possible. I was driving a rig. Now the way the street is setup is this. People to my right can only turn left. People coming from their left...
