Yep! Catalytic converter replacement. You just can't by-pass it cause the computer runs analysis that include the cc performance. If you continue running with it clogged, you'll sooner than later...

I guess I'm the lucky one. My 99's got 214,000 miles and the engine purrs like a kitten! Just did a compression test on the engine and they're all even.

Should be just above the heater hoses in the engine compartment passenger side. Try this, squirt a little starting fluid or gasoline in the intake and then crank it up, if it starts, then it's gotta...

Yeah, I guess so 'cause I reconnected the exhaust and it's fine now. It starts right away but now the engine when cold, it starts in fast idle which is normal, then it goes down to about 850RPM which...

No. They used acetylene welding, not electrical!

Checked the fuel pressure and is 0. Nothing, so I checked to see of the pump made a sound when the switch was on and nothing either....
