i understand there are limits set for a reason, was just curious as to what that reason was...as clearly the engine/tranny can pull more than 2200 lbs, but the brakes/weight of the tow vehicle may...

i've been looking for a small trailer and while looking at the towing limits in the manual (2wd, auto, 2.3) it says max of 2200lbs. so you're telling me my 3000lb ranger can't tow another ranger? ...

it didn't want to start up this AM...so i pushed the pedal to the floor...it started and shot up to 4000 rpm.

i haven't looked too hard at it yet, as it seems to have 'gotten better'....but yea, i don't really want to travel too far from home in case it starts acting up. i've have a few other things going...

i know how that goes....on my '96 ranger, the ABS light came on. i ran every test i could find, all passed, which indicated that the ABS module was bad. $150 later, and a new module, never got my...

started it 5 times today. 1st thing in the AM, turned key to 'on' until pump shut off, fired right up. after work (8 hrs later) did the same, fired right up. drove home (10 miles) and let it sit...

bmwrich....it's not that it cranks longer, then starts clean....it cranks and almost starts, but doesn't. sometimes it will catch just enough that when i let go of the key, it sputters, chokes and...

got the filter changed, went pretty easy once i figured out how to release the hoses (newer style).

started on 1st try, but that was after cycling the fuel pump several times to get the gas into...

i haven't scanned for codes since the check engine light isn't on,..but i was going to try it just to see if anything comes up anyway. have to get the scanner back from my brother.
