Re: 5.0's are they really that fast?
Very true, I was there and lived it. Most 60's muscle cars were 14 sec cars stock. Cost me several thousand $ to get a 66 GTO (street legal) into the 12's. A lot of money back then. Technology and...

I bought both door lock motors from partsgeek for less than Auto Zone or Advanced wanted for just the passenger side (including freight).

Re: Trailer lights
Heavy duty flasher only slows down the frequency of the blinker lights. Older OEM flashers would blink too fast most of the time. Do you have separate brake and turn signal bulbs on the truck? I...

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
I am just now taking a break from the initial (all tack welds) fit up of putting 03 Stang seats in mine. Power driver seat. Fit is good, seat belt lines up well, but mounts are all fabricated...

Reading elsewhere, I have read that mine does not have the pulse hubs, has what we used to call "full time", (live axle?). True?

Re: Identify 4.0 motor
Thanks Rango, but does not have that cover.

Between ya'll and ebay pictures SOHC must be it. Recon an Explorer manual would be better than the Ranger manual for the motor.
