Re: Current backup camera options
Just wondering if anyone has an update on available backup camera options?
I got into a work related jag that sidetracked me with 70 hour weeks. By the time I got home fiddling with the truck was...

The last USA Rangers were the 2011 models, and the site does not seem to have cultivated the international owners of the European Rangers. A drop-off in site use should have been predicted...

Re: Suggestions for LED daytime running lights?
Well, it takes only one idiot driver to create a lot of heartache and property loss for a crowd of people. Light travels faster than sound and movement naturally draws attention, so I'll take my...

Suggestions for LED daytime running lights?
Where I live the distracted drivers seem to be increasing exponentially. I want more light for safety.
Next, I'm ... well, several years older than when I bought this truck and I don't see as well...

Re: Engine suddenly began misfiring
Rick, thanks. Can you recommend a decent scan tool?
My truck has shown exactly one (1) code since I bought it, but I also have a BMW Z3 that throws a code annually whether needed or not.
If you...

jackson04, I'm not a tech but I am a lifetime tinkerer who at one time did all of his own mechanicking. I'm practically certain a valve cover gasket issue will not cause a misfire. Maybe if there is...

Re: Engine suddenly began misfiring
Oh - duh. I should have figured that out.
No, there is no light on. And oddly, when I restarted the engine after letting it sit for several hours it runs smoothly.
Last week one day I got a...

Engine suddenly began misfiring
So I am driving along and the engine suddenly begins misfiring.
At first it felt like a belt in a tire was going but after I got off the main highway I realized it was a misfire.

Re: Is there a "kit" for a full front suspension rebuild?
Okay. I got the parts issue figured out reading and gleaning online.
My plan is to go the full control arm replacement route with new upper and lower arms, bushings, and ball joints on both sides....

Is there a "kit" for a full front suspension rebuild?
I've concluded that a replacement of all the rubber bits and supporting sleeves is the only choice I have to deal with the loosey-goosiness" of my front end after the two incidents hitting things.

Glad I found this discussion.
I tend to keep my vehicles very close to stock, but a backup camera is one of the tweaks I'm interested in.

Re: Odd "clunk" has me scratching my head...
Okay, so today I was able to get by a shop where I know the front-end guy and he looked at the running gear and front end components.

So who's planning to trade when the new Rangers arrive?
Just curious.
I'm staying where I am for a while for all the usual reasons; new models prone to bugs, current truck is paid for, etc.

Re: Torsion Bar Lift For 2010 - 2011 Info
FYI, a while back I cranked mine to set the truck for level (same measurement at both wheel wells) and over time I got tired of it. The ride was rough and after a while I didn't like the look.

For those who are taking that approach, what wax are...

Then after I sold the Wing I sold the...
