Looks like I am going to have a hard time wanting to find a tech to do this other than a ford place.

He doesn't usually work on transmissions. He put it back together as he needed the room in his shop and said the input shaft needed replaced or a different transmission as soon as possible.

inexpensive clutch advice

I have a 2003 ranger edge 2wd hiway tires 3.0 and drive 90 miles per day. I don't need a nice fancy clutch, but need to change mine. Realizing I get what I pay for, is there a recommendation.
