Well finally gave the truck a nose job well a partial one anyways. I didn't feel like shellin out 100 bucks a headlight for 01 headlights so i just bought some new 99's and put a 01 grille haha....

Probably, you can always spray some sort of belt dressing on it when you hear the chirp, then you'll know if it is your belt doin the chirpin haha.

I'm not sure, but I'd say the 2.3's could have the same issue. I've just heard that the 4.0's cam sync's are rare to mess up and the 3.0's are more common from what I've heard. Haha I know what you...

3.0's too, they're alot easier to replace though not as much trouble to get to.

Yeah its a PIA puttin it in from the backside, be much easier to hammer it in gently from the front. Its still not squeaked anymore so i hope that was my troubles.

No but that would be easier than the way i done it just be gentle drivin it in there. I went about it the hard way a used a big c clamp and preessedit in from the backside.

If you know which side the squeak is coming from, if i were you I'd pull the hub assembly off of that side and check the wheel seal that fits inside the spindle. I pulled mine and they were rust on...

No i didnt take the torsion bar loose, and i just put a jackstand under the lower arm. But it is alot easier to remove the whole spindle to have plenty of room to work to get the axle shaft out.

I replaced the passenger side wheel seal on mine...

I replaced the passenger side wheel seal on mine and now its squeak free for the time being. I alsi went ahead and replaced my lower ball joints while.i had it tore apart.

Yeah I tried puttin grease in there too, it didn't help much but it seems just a oily spray quietens it down a while. it has to be a seal of some sort causing the trouble. I wonder where I can find...

Took the mudflaps off today, truck looks better now, I may leave em off depends how many chips I have in the paint from throwin gravel.

Think I may pull the mudflaps off tomorrow. I think it would look better without them and I hear them dragging quite a bit, when i go wheelin.
