I'm not quite following you tomboy. We got it right then? The OEM cages have to be used with the new calipers? Just seems strange that it isn't the same hardware so you can replace everything...

The picture is a little deceiving but the new bolts that go at the arrows are a larger diameter and a different thread than the OEM bolts.

Just replacing the front brake calipers on my '03 Ranger and the bolts on the new cages are bigger than the OEM stuff. They won't thread into the knuckles either. There was only one part number...

I know the pre '92 rear axles are 2" narrower than post '92 axles, but can they still be swapped into 2002+ Rangers without any modifications? Shock mounts, spring perches, etc.?
