If someone sold them to you for $30 you got a steel at that price. Ford does not have them available anymore and there price (if they had them) are almost $600 per set. Reminds me of the time I had...

I have a set just like these. They are a dark grey color with no rust on the brackets if anyone is interested.

fyi! Those oem bed rail caps when they were still available cost over $250 per side from ther factory. They are a colloctors item now!
