Thanks for the input. I tried changing the fluid (no filter, one of those quick change shops that supposedly pump out the old stuff and replace it with the new stuff, not sure it does...

As to my original question, no hints that the modulator/vacuum lines might be contributing to this??

By "shuddering" I mean really anything other than a smooth 1/2 shift.
The ill effect can be varied with different throttle application. In a worst case it feels like an on/off on/off 1/2 shift....

The O/D light is not flashing.
Tranny fluid was last changed at 65K miles in 2006.
As you can see, I don't put a lot of miles on my truck.
