Not hard to remove, pulled it from an Aerostar with just an adjustable wrench.
The one on the intake was a little stubborn but came out with a little persuasion and a bigger wrench.

Still wasn't able to find it to buy separately got one from a local you pull it junk yard
ended up costing me $5.00 so not too bad.

Already returned 1 thinking it was bad, and boiled the 2nd and it is opening.
Have had it installed both right and wrong ways but it still won't circulate.

Circulation problem
99 ranger v6 3.0 I had to replace cyl head on drivers side, all went smoothly, now I have an issue with the coolant.
new t-stat & upper hose, with stat installed no circulation and back pressure...

Lower intake question
There are 2 coolant hoses connected on lower intake manifold the one that has the temp sensor on it the barb has rusted and leaked.
Is the part available? Can they be connected together & bypass the...
