Re: '97 Ranger upgrade project

Yup, and under/inside the hood. I completely stripped it of emblems lights, bumpers, ect. Pretty much everything except the back and front windshields.

Re: '97 Ranger upgrade project

Not a glamour shot on the trail or in the woods, but here's one. Would've had one sooner but just got tags on it. Can't see it, but I have the new style taillights on it too. I'll try to get better...

Re: Spray Painting Random Plastic Interior Pieces

I can see where people can get away with moderation, but when I walk by a vehicle, and I see some bright/off colored pieces, instantly I think "spray painted" and "juvenile", no matter how good it...

Spray Painting Random Plastic Interior Pieces

I had a car when I was younger, and painted some interior plastic. I thought it looked custom cool. Now I feel I've grown a bit since then. Looking back at it, it was just a horrible idea....

Re: How to convert 3-Bulb tails to a 2-Bulb set up.

Just went back to the 3 bulb set up. My third time taking the truck for a drive, since I did this (truck's not a daily driver, maybe once a month) the flasher got stuck. Signals would just stay on. ...

Re: HID Projector install [pics!]

Every vehicle I pass with HIDs during the dark, I want to take a hot bulb and use it to weld their arse hole shut.

I guess this is the new cool thing to do. Like those loud mufflers, or underbody...

Re: How to convert 3-Bulb tails to a 2-Bulb set up.

I honestly don't remember if it's heavy duty. Just that it's an EP27 flasher. I'm thinking that it might have something to do with a lack of grounding somewhere. Like maybe I need to hook the ground...

Re: How to convert 3-Bulb tails to a 2-Bulb set up.

Yeah, my lights seem to do the correct operations.

BUT, the turn signals act weird. It's like they have to 'charge' up to give full brightness. They start out dim, then with each flash they get...

Re: 98 ranger headlight question

This guy did it -> http://www.fordrangerforum.com/vehicle-snapshots/9229-new.html

It's something I started looking into, but wish there was more detail on what he had to do.

Re: How to convert 3-Bulb tails to a 2-Bulb set up.

I've got the new tail lights.
I've got a "T" trailer harness on my truck.
I've bought a Hopkins 5 to 4 wire converter.

Can someone draw a diagram? No dark under truck photos. No vague...

Re: Auto vs manual

I have a manual, wish I had an auto. For me, changing gears got old real fast. It's a pain even trying to talk on a cell phone going through the city.

extended cab window seals

The seals are dry rotted on the side windows on my cab. It's more of an appearance thing, but I'd like to replace them. Anyone know where to find them at?

My rear window seal is like that, too,...

Re: 3.0 tremendous loss of power

I got tired of buying parts and started buy test equipment. Compression, spark, fuel pressure, vacuum, timing, ect. As far as the timing of the cam sensor (or a bad one), I doubt it would cause that,...
