Re: 2.3l oil leak on bottom of oil pan
I bought my truck new (1992 2.3) That same leak drives me crazy. The pan gasket has already been replaced once. BTW on mine that cover plate was not there from new. All it covers is a void. ...

Re: Need to disable A/C '99 Ranger XLT
When you select defrost the a/c compressor runs as it acts like a dehumidifier. Windows will be a bit slower to clear without the a/c.

It's been a very long time since I've been on. I got a 90 Corvette so the Ranger has been on the back burner for a while, just a daily driver. I've got a whole list of things that need to be done. ...

I can take or leave the rims. IMO the stock alloys looked like crap so these aren't so bad. I also have the tinted acrylic roof panel too.
It's way too fun to drive. I've been averaging...

Re: how many miles out of a full tank
Heck, I fill up at 1/2. Usually 8-9 gallons. $38-$39. Psychologically it's best this way. Anytime it's under $40 I'm happy.

Re: Windshield sprayer nozzzle install help!
Not sure on the 94 but on the 92 you have to twist it left or right. The hole it's in is slotted for the two tabs that is on the tube below the spray head. Maybe the 94 is similar.

Newspaper with any cleaner is the only way. For tint just mix in some mild soap with water in a spray bottle. In 16 oz of water just a one squirt or about a teaspoon, shake and use that with...

Re: How to Improve MPG
Here's the problem as I see it. You are kind of stuck. Taller tires may help for 1 or 2 mpg but there is certainly a limit with a stock truck. If it was a 4x2 I'd recommend changing the rear gear...

The most difficult part of making a new car is anticipating it's sales. For the Charger the only way to have decent sales was to make it a 4 door. The purists won't like it but the majority of...

One thing that helps getting the air out is parking so the radiator is high then running the engine. The coolant reservoir should not be filling up. The level should rise when hot and drop when...

You are confusing a measure of weight with a measure of torque.
12 inch pounds = 1 foot pound.

I'm 99% certain it is. My point is that when everything is clean then you can decide what parts you may need. Typically an ignition module fails totally. Never just partially. You lose all...

Before you start buying parts do this. Disconnect the battery. Unplug the spout and clean those contacts on the spout and the harness. Slather some dielectric grease on it and plug it back in.

They will be tight pretty most all the way...
