Yeah I just read that, The kit's info states, "6. No bumper brackets are included" So I'll have to order some. Does it matter which I order?

I have an 89 as well, I think it generally happens to me when I cold start or haven't driven it in a while. But that's just me.

Truck sure is looking good!
Only thing is to be careful with those taillights, I got a warning for having mine smoked: the law may be different where you live though!
