idle surge

ok lately ive noticed that when im at idle the engine surges from about 900 to 1100 rpms and also if i turn the steering wheel at idle it drops down to about 750 rpms and then will go back up to 1000...

right now i just removed the muffler and all i have right now is th cat and no pipe going off it and there is a LOT of cab drone will putting a pipe on reduce this
