Ok... But there's another wire connected to my positive battery post... It doesn't go to the alternator, and when it is disconnected, all the electronics still work... But my truck won't start. Can...

I switched my dome 2 the mustang 1 in my 98 ext. cab. The two dome lights work properly... But the map light stays on constantly. Can anyone help?
