I Know exactly what that is! It's the continuemtransfunctioner they put on all '03 rangers. GREAT SCOTT DON'T CUT IT OFF!!!! You will end up in 1985 and then it's really hard to find parts for that...

I've taken your advice and cleaned the quater inch of sluge out of the IAC and out of the Throttle body. During the process i also noticed the plastic air tube between the air box and throttle body...
