Re: Freaking people these days!

When I see stuff like that in the road I will usually stop and move it out of the way. Shame that the car that flashed you didn't just move the ladder out of the way.

If it were still good I would...

I commented on another thread you were in about your Uniden. Here is my setup.

Re: Firestik II or Firefly?

That Uniden is the same model I have in my truck. I like it a lot. The only thing I would change with it though is the mic; it feels really cheap. The channels pick up clear, and the volume is loud...

Re: Ford won't cover noisy fuel pump replacement under warranty

I didn't catch the mileage. I have never bought a vehicle with an existing warranty so I didn't even think about that.

Re: Ford won't cover noisy fuel pump replacement under warranty

http://www.fordrangerforum.com/general-ford-ranger-discussion/47128-replaced-fuel-pump-today.html

I had the same noise problem. I bought a pump (not the whole unit) off of ebay and installed it. I...

Re: 2010 4 cyl watsup with ford plastic parts...

Plastic is fine with me, the more plastic used in places that don't require metal just make my truck lighter. Anything to get better* MPG is okay by me.

Re: Does anyone else do this?

No, there are too many around. It's a basic truck really, and I have nothing in common with these other people. Hell even on my street there are a few Rangers that are the same color.

Re: A/C out of control 2007 Ranger Sport

Sounds like your blend door broke, or the actuator to the blend door fried.I had to replace the actuator on mine. I made a thread about it.

Re: How to clean the IAC valve

I cleaned mine, and the throttle body, and MAF. My MPG went to shit. I don't think that cleaning it messed them up, I think it uncovered another issue that I have yet to solve. I dropped 2 MPG doing...

Re: Ditched factory panels and hid wires.

I can understand the reason of doing it. The interior of these trucks can be boring. Mine is pretty stock, if I had a bunch of stickers like that and had a slow weekend I would probably do the same...

Re: engine stays at high revs when shifting / not in gear

I know this is a long shot since this thread is so old but which speed sensor did you unplug? Where is it located. I would like to try this and see if this is the issue I am having with my...

Re: Installed A Uniden Pro520 XL Today

Sorry it took so long to respond, and by now you have probably already mounted your but I have mine just sitting on the seat in the middle. It's heavy enough that it doesn't go anywhere.

Re: Looking for a decent CB.

Here is my setup, all in all I spent ~$150 for everything. I haven't tried the PA so I can't comment on it.

Re: Vintage License Plates Returing to CA?

I hate the new Texas plates they have, the ones before these were my favorite. I considered getting vanity plates just so those third grade finger paint looking plates don't have to disgrace my truck...

Re: IAC required?

I had the same problem when I cleaned my IACV, you actually can put something between the IACV and the manifold and it will still run, albeit poorly. If you unplug it you will get a CEL right away.

Re: Tying in my headliner with my doors!

The OP's door skin has a few pieces that can come off, be replaced with the fabric he wants then put back on.

My door skin is pretty much a "sheet" of plastic with an arm rest. If I added fabric...

Re: Tying in my headliner with my doors!

That will be sweet, I wish my doors weren't all plastic so I could wrap some stuff with fabric.
