Yup, and for that reason, and one other stripped bolt it is going to the mechanic. I tried, but sometimes you see a pattern and it's going against you. So I will have the shop build it back up...

well the intake was fine, took it to a machine shop and he said it was nothing.

But right as I was reached 24 lbs on the torque wrench for the middle bolt on the rocker arm support the bolt popped...

The lower intake dropped off the table, I guess I must have set it down slightly wrong. The rear edge on the left cylinder head is bent in, the gap that would be left if I filed it down would be on...

Thanks! good to know, can you tell I have a very limited amount of experience. I have done a few small repairs but nothing quite this major, so it's been challenging but fun.
