Re: I leave for a while and when I come back...
I never *meant* to buy a New beetle. I was looking for an older air-cooled Bug and I couldn't find the right one, and when I stumbled across this one I decided to at least look at it to get an idea...

Re: I leave for a while and when I come back...
Thanks, I have had fun with the transformation. I have to say this little car has been an obscene amount of fun. I pulled on my neighbor's modded G37 by three car lengths on I65 and he couldn't come...

Everybody's done gone LED crazy... and it's freakin' awesome. When I first joined FRF LED mods were few and far between, and now I see all kinds of creativity going on here - it makes me proud....

Re: How To: Under Hood Leds
Wow, I had no idea I was going to inspire so many people with a simple mod - which is the best thing about simple mods. I have done a ton of LED mods on my Turbo Bug and so far the majority of it has...

Sounds good to me, although if it were me I would leave a small amount of chrome showing in the middle, like the centercap maybe that way it will show the outer chrome ring off more. Either way I...

Re: Inspired by Buggman
Thanks for all the props guys – it’s definitely a worthy mod. I had considered a how-to, but honestly it’s so simple that it can be summed up in a few sentences. If you can attach two wires together...

Shop around for local locksmiths that also do autotive locks. I found a few places that do 2 transponder keys & programming for around $70.00. Not a bad deal.

A blockage in the radiator big enough to cause the problems you're having is very unlikely, unless the rad is really old and seriously gunked up. If it were that fouled up, you'd likely be having...
