Re: Project Sinister Sleeper 302

Having the long haul from Whidbey to Centralia,...

Having the long haul from Whidbey to Centralia, Everett would be a closer location. The summer is getting filled in already and not even the end of may.

Re: Western WA

I'll be out of doing any trips for a while, looks like the radiator needs to be cleaned up and cracks repaired. Got a constant leak on the custom fit radiator, might consider upgrading to the...

Re: GoPro time!!!

Having way too much fun with it now, attached it up to the glider and didn't have too many issues, just with getting the autopilot functions to work right. As for the camera, looks like the battery...

Re: GoPro time!!!

Picked up the GoPro2 with the wi fi backpack for $200 package deal, man the price has come down since the 3 came out. Even picked up a 32Gb class 10 sd card for it for $49. Got out with my rc motor...

Re: PNW Centralia Meet mid October?

Might have to give this one a pass for now, nailing down a fuel system issue and too many projects to get caught up on. I try to set aside some time if there is a meet around the New years...

Re: Fuel Pump

Not too familiar with the 2001 series, but just had to purchase a new frame rail fuel pump for mine. Not sure whether yours would have one if you're running a single pump. Do you have a Haynes or...

Re: 1987 ranger 4 cyl. to v8

I ordered an oem wiring book for the 86 to 88 version Ranger which the Ford company stopped selling a while back. Purchased the Haynes for both the Ranger and Mustang for the comparisons. Kept all...

Re: 1987 ranger 4 cyl. to v8

If you need any further info on this, got plenty from gutting out an 86 Mustang gt with the T5 on my Cardomain pages. Used a Willwood pull type slave cylinder attached to the belhousing to the...

Re: Soft clutch pedal

Sounds too much like you still have some air in the line. Bleeding the line works for the most part, but i found manually actuating the slave cylinder with the reservoir lid off gets rid of the...

Re: 1991 Ranger: water leaking into cab.

Another thing to check is the heater core if it smells like antifreeze, off chance it might be corroded from the water getting into the ducting, passenger floor carpet was constantly soaked till it...

Re: V8 ranger

Definitely agree with the motor and drivetrain swap. If you have the complete Explorer, most of the hardwork is done. All the electronics need to go with it, may take some time but much less hassle...

Re: 87 xlt eb

The upkeep has just begun. Not a bad price you picked it up for, should be able to give you quite a few years of reliable transportation once all the little problems are fixed.

The dents only add...
