Sorry I haven't been back sooner. The problem turned out to be a defective sensor in the new hub. The parts store finally checked it themselves and replaced it.

abs light
2000 Ranger 4x4 - Just replaced the left front hub and now the abs light comes on intermittently. Actually its on more than off but does go off sometimes. There has never been a problem with the ABS...
