Talked with several ford techs and explained to them exactly what was happening. They stated this is normal. Depending on load and temp the computer will automatically trigger this type...

YAY used FORScan to successfully program PATS on my 01'. I have had two keys with it when I bought it years ago. One would start the truck, the other didn't. Read up on how to do it on their forum...
