Re: 4wd Suspension Inquiry

I don't know this for sure, but it could be because of the fact that the diff is on the driver side, which requires a shorter shaft to get to the wheel and a longer shaft on the passenger side.

I...

Realistic: Fix the headache/canoe rack, floods on the bed and possibly auxiliary reverse lights, stang dome (possibly getting one soon), auxiliary interior lights, lockout hubs, windshield/cab visor...

Re: Aux light switch question

www.wiringproducts.com is a nice place to get stuff relatively cheap. The have just about everything you need, but I can't comment on shipping. Site is pretty easy to use as well.

Re: Fog light problem--no power

I got the stuff to do my own stuff like I said, but this is bugging me so I am going to continue and find out what was wrong. Will be checking fuses tomorrow after work.

And yes, headlights were...

Re: Aleo's 95

Ok, school and work have been crazy lately. Vacation this week, so I took today to put some fogs up front and get the weird valence thing up front off. I wanted and had rectangular fog lights that I...

Re: Fog light problem--no power

Thanks for the reply!

No voltage on hot/frame, and no continuity on ground/frame.

Filament is still good also.

So...bad ground? Does the ground go to the chassis or back to the relay?

Fog light problem--no power

Ok, to start from the beginning, when I bought my Ranger the (factory) foglights were gone. The wiring was left, but the actual lights were gone. About a foot up into the engine bay from the fog...

Re: Snow sucks, tire suggestions?

I used to hear a lot of bad reviews about the Goodyear Wranglers, but eventually the reviews starting looking up and I bought a set. I certainly don't regret the decision. One of the best priced...

Re: 02 reg cab 2wd 2.3L ball joint help question

The only way I've seen it done is to remove the whole control arm.

However, a question for somebody perhaps more in-the-know, are the joints pressed in? This would make it so you could press the...

Re: need new tires!!!

The cheapest I've found for tires is $105 for Goodyear Wranglers, and I haven't hear good things about wranglers. Unfortunately, my tires are almost to the point of un-inspectability (I think I made...

Re: your trucks name??

Not named, but I call it "Honey."

You know, as in "Come on, you can get over this hill, honey!" or "Ouch! Sorry about that last bump, Honey!"

Re: Parking, cluster lights not working emergency!

Fuses are designed to prevent too much current from going through the circuit. If, just for example sake since this is highly unlikely, you have an accessory requiring only a 5 amp draw and you throw...

Re: Aleo's 95

I've been thinking about doing something like that. The color scheme just rubs me the wrong way. I'm going to have to mess around with photoshop/paint to see what I like.

The bumpers will be...

Re: Aleo's 95

Got some pictures today! Fixed the gear selector pin too. That should help to restore my sanity.

Re: Parking, cluster lights not working emergency!

I am by no means an electrical technician or anything, but could it be that your new dash lights require less draw and so you have a larger than necessary fuse? Too much amperage could blow the...

Re: Aleo's 95

Lol, when I took it to the mechanic that's what he did. Light popped off when he shut the passenger door.

Also, he said it would eventually require a new steering box. Can anybody give me a number...

Re: I goofed big time!! Help!

I was thinking of something more like what my friend calls "whore lights." They'll be on the sides to hopefully project some light into the back so I can see all my crap, lol.

I also will need a...

Thanks a ton! That's going to make my life so much better, lol!

I'm thinking about putting a red light in the back of my ext cab, or maybe blue. Or green.....

But anyway, your thread has...

Re: I goofed big time!! Help!

Trying not to steal your thread, but mind if I ask how you did that? Mine slipped down a gear, so it says reverse in park, 2 in drive, drive in neutral, etc. and it drives me nuts.

I remember...

Re: Friend totalled his car got a Sonoma

2.5, you're right. I narrowed it down between 2.3 and 2.5 and couldn't decide. My father used to only drive S10's, but I can't remember back that far lol. I don't even know if they made those with...
