Re: Flannel upholstery completed!

HA! I got in my truck to move it last night and the center console was the first thought that popped in my head. A few hours later, it was completed with flannel.

Re: Flannel upholstery completed!

drppdyllwrngr: I used 3M Super 77 Multipurpose Adhesive spray to attach the flannel. I simply took the door panel off and yanked out the part of the panel that I wanted to mask. It was difficult...

Re: 02 Edge with vibration at highway speeds

I'm having the same issue with my 2001 Ranger; it's got the vibrating at 60-65mph and has steadily gotten worse. I'm pretty sure it's my rear brakes, possibly the parking brake not fully disengaging....

Interior Design

After I get the rust project finished up I'm planning on doing some interior work for a relatively cheap price. Wintergreen, black, and white flannel will be sewn into the circled area on both Ranger...

Re: New to me 2001 Ranger, Too much RUST? I need advice!

You did not buy a lemon. Do not buy another truck! I can see why you're a bit concerned over the rust because I'm currently going through the same issue with my 2001 Ranger. I only bought it with...

Alright everyone, here are the pictures I promised yesterday. It looks like it's just surface rust for right now. Here's the link: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/members/ranger40-albums-rust.html

Re: RUST! Need Advice!

It appears its only surface rust, but I'm leaning towards buying a wire brush and adding some POR 15 or rust paint afterwards. I can't afford to take it to an autobody shop because it's just too...

RUST! Need Advice!

There's a solid amount underneath my Ranger...It only has 51,000 miles, but its 10 years old and based in New England, so snow and salt have taken a toll. I'm not sure that I want to pay an autobody...

Re: Steering clicking

I got the same deal, is it something normal or is it the clockspring like everyone has been saying? I've got a 2001 Ranger.

Painting fenders & bumpers

I'm looking to paint my grey bumpers and fenders black in the near future. But I'm wondering if Plasti Dip or regular spray paint is the way to go. I feel like Plasti Dip would hold up much better as...

Re: The "Work" thread....

I work at a NH lumber yard where people drink beer and chew tobacco on the job. It's a low key atmosphere, but the days can get pretty long lifting timber after timber. Other times, we just play...

Re: First Time Buyer, what to look for

The fluid service done to the second one is a definite plus and the tires look ideal for the kind of conditions your original post included. But I think $8995 is way too much for a truck with...

Re: How many miles do you have on your Ranger?

2001 Ranger XLT 4.0L/6cyl. What is a good suggestion to fix an issue with the fuel gauage sender unit? My check engine light is detecting a problem with it, but my fuel gauge is working just fine.
