Ended up taking the timing cover off. Good thing, the Jack shaft chain tensioner was broken as was the left chain tensioner.

Point taken, but $7000 buys a lot of $225 motors.
#1. Two tensioners, install 10 minutes, engine ready to go in, driving next week, $50
#2. Two tensioners and cassettes, install 3 hours, wait...

Yea, the tensioners are a given, guides maybe, but to do the chains would require about $200 in tools and, of course, more work and time. Was hoping to have her on the road...
