Re: My MPG is too good.
If its an older truck, check the intake. I had a 94 LeSabre which never broke 21 mpg, then all of a sudden I was getting 26mpg. I was thrilled, until I found out I had a cracked intake. I don't...

Not the only way. Does your motor have a PCV valve? Or a crankcase breather valve? In my old Cherokee which didn't need one, I had a similar problem. My old shop teacher told me to put one...

If you don't catch it fast enough, they go in pairs. Should have started with the alternator, then the battery. Even when you have too few CCA in warm weather it can still effect your vehicle. My...

I have a similar problem. 2004 FX4 with 76k miles. Around 60-65 it starts to vibrate pretty badly. My passenger seat shakes, mirrors, looks like my bed shakes too.

Re: What is this?
Line output converter. It turns high level outputs to low level outputs for an amplifier for your audio. If you're getting an amp with a few sets of RCA's, just throw that out. Unless you're...

Look into upgrading your muffler bearings. It helps the exhaust flow more freely, and it increases your engines efficiency.

Re: Car audio questions
I agree with Quartazz. I'm an installer as well. I saw an 800 watt Lanzar Amp that actually only put out about 70 watts rms. I'm a stickler when it comes to my car audio. JL Audio, Alpine,...

Don't put yourself in a situation where you "have" or "need" to go 90mph, simple as that. Speed limits around my parts are 65. Keep it at or around 65, you shouldn't ever have a problem. The...

That radio you have may have needed an amplifier for it, which is common in explorers. It sounds like its sending low level output to your speakers, hence the low volume.
