Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread

I haven't messed with my tbars just yet (still getting my feet wet), but it's on the to-do list.

My parents have a fairly steep drive, so I was able to park it in a fashion that allowed me to...

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread

Changed the oil in my Ranger today. It's unseasonably warm, so I wanted to take advantage of the nice weather. Next up: Change fuel filter.

Re: How To: Change Oil in a 4.0 SOHC

I just want to bump this with a quick thanks. I think some people can underestimate how non-tech-savvy new members can be (like myself for instance).

Thanks to this quick tutorial my Ranger is...

Re: how much did you pay for your truck out the door?

$8,200 for an '03 FX4 with 59K on it. Not a life-changing deal, but I think I did alright.

Re: Step bars, looks alot better

Can you add a rack and tonneau cover at the same time? I picked up a rack on the cheap and after eyeballing it, it looks like you have to choose one or the other.

Re: Do you use your fog lights all the time

I was seriously thinking about starting a thread like this earlier in the day!

I snapped my lights on while heading out to work this morning and thought "I wonder if everyone else leaves their...

Re: Stripping & painting step bars

This is next up on my things to do list.

I have Thursday and Friday of next week off (ah, the life of a school teacher), so I plan on attacking it then.

Great write-up by the way. It's much...

Re: What did you do to your ranger today thread

Picked up a bed extender off of craigslist. It's a little beat up for sure, but it was only $75. The guy threw in a headache rack for another $50. Having a tonneau cover, I don't have any use for...

Re: Reason for purchasing ranger vs f150?

Living just minutes from downtown Boston, a smaller truck is the way to go. It's a big enough pain parking my Ranger in the city, I wouldn't want to have to squeeze a full size into a spot.

Re: So glad to finally be able to post here!

Now that I have it, what would you suggest I do first? Putting yourself in my shoes, what is the first thing you would do to your Ranger once you get it home? Are there any small things that you'd...

Re: So glad to finally be able to post here!

That's the first thing I noted when I went to see it. They've got a good deal of life left in them too, so it was a nice bonus for sure.

And thanks for the warm welcome!

Hello everyone!
