Well i found that the RF was more noticeable through my fuse block. thats why i ran straight to the battery.
I also took 1 inch copper tinned bradded wire and made grounding stripes and added...

well i fixed my rf problem. followed some good advice from guys on a cb fourm that have competition rigs. There advice absolutely worked for me.

sounds like you have a lot of RF coming from those lights. That RF interference will travel throughout your electrical system. Thats why i suggest to go straight to the batt.

how is the power hooked to the cb? i run my cb's straight to the batt. that way you get no noise from anything else. you just have to remember to turn it off.also what are you swr's? grounding the...

i run Cb's in all my trucks and i go straight to the batt. just remember to turn it off. you can go through the fuse block but you might pick up a lot of static engine noise both RX and TX. Remember...

sounds like a ground fault to me. if it is draining the batt and burning wires it could be a short to ground. If you are not careful you can fry the CPU.

+2 on the relay. Use the stock wiring to fire the coil in the relay witch draws very little. Then run heaver gauge wire to lights and run pos. side through relay.
