rough surging sound only while coasting at 1000 rpm

i noticed this sound and vibration while i was coasting to a stop sign.
it happens everytime at 8- 1000 rpm. aprox 2-5 mph It sounds like gggrroo gggrrroo
gggrrroo and you can feel it vibrating...

WELL... I'M BACK TO IT... it started rough idle again a couple days later. I got a repair manual it says to test the iac, unplug it. it should lower the idle. if it does then its working... did that...

Ok, here's how it went... cleaned the MAS AND THE IAC. THE TRUCK SEEMS TO HAVE A BETTER RESPONSE AT THE THROTTLE. DIDNT FIX THE ROUGH IDLE THOUGH. REPLACED THE COIL PACK WITH A ACCEL SUPER COIL....

I have a 2000 auto, 2wd extra cab. last week it started to have a rough idle when i start it. when its cold its pretty bad. like a misfire on 1 cyl. i give it some gas , in a couple of seconds later...

UPDATE: After 3 years of water in the engine and exhaust... Passed smog just fine. I replaced both heads and took it to the smog Dude. No problems. The cat and the muffler were just fine! I'm real...

I have a 2000 ranger 2 wheel drive automatic. the shift lever is sloppy from park to reverse. and will start only every so often in park, most all of the time it has to be in neutral. Does any body...

I have a 2000 3.0 ranger. 4x2, I had a cracked head on one side the other just had rebuilt. my concern is after 3 years of sitting around with water in the exhaust system is the converter still good...
