The new BFG's appear to be better than the originals. Ran the KO before switching to coopers and they were ok.Haven't really had time to fully test out the ko2's.

I wanted to go with Cooper...

I use the ARB deflator for airing down my tires. It's a pretty slick little unit, pulls the valve stem core and locks in place

So... I was attempting to build the trailer around a 2000# axle since I didn't see the need for the heavy 3500# rated gear.Trailer weight guess is 5-600#'s and throw in another 5-600#'s of gear and...

I haven't felt the need for bumpers plus all this crap takes up so much time... but I did pickup some metal for a front bumper. Metal shop cut it into the basic shape i wanted and only charged me $60...

Was going to build some fenders but found these on sale for $15 each, thought I'd see if i could make the work. Not ideal but I think they will...

Thanks... Ideally I'd like a 4wl camper, but I just can't commit to the cost. I like the RTT but when we did the Yukon and the temp was -10C, folding the tent up in the morning sucked.

That's the beauty of the 4Whl campers...lite weight construction and designed for off road use. The center of gravity is usually no higher than the trucks roof line due to the pop up nature of it's...

I've debated the 4whl camper a couple of times...Solid construction and lite weight. Very nice pieces but oh so pricey when they're optioned out.
