I think I found "IT". :D a metal line to the canister under the hood was rotted..... fixed it and seem to be back in business!!!!!:itsme:

O.k. Had a intake repair done, and I am still leaking oil. More dye in the oil, and being told it may be the rear main seal. About how much should this cost????? Is it a big job????? Just really...

I did take the tape off the filler tube. It seemed to be holding a small piece of metal on the frame side of the tube. Maybe to prevent it from rubbing on the frame?????? there was no damage under...

Thanks for all the feedback.... poked around under the truck for about an hour and it def. doesn't seem to be coming from the filter. no obvious wet spots from any leaks. canister under hood is still...

I do top off most times.... I haven't owned this truck for a long time. So I don't know much of the past history on it. How would I know if it is the canister???? And can I replace it????

where would the fuel filter be located on this truck???? a friend of mine suggested to start there cause he has replaced alot of them. I guess the filter can be prone to pin holes. :hmmmm2:

I am pretty sure its not an intake leak.... more like a rear main seal... which from what I am hearing is a somewhat common problem with these motors... any thoughts on an additive to buy some...

Not a valve cover gasket. but it is the lower transmission coolant line in the radiator that goes to the tranny cooler. Now the big mistery is findind a replacement metal line. No luck on with...

automatic trans. coolant line question

I found what was leaking on my 94xlt ranger. The coolant line for the auto. trans. is leaking at the radiator fitting. This line is the lower one that connects to the radiator near the steering box....

me again

took a closer look at this leak. I am definately stumped. Its really wet under the power steering pump. Fluid looks like engine oil. I'm gonna take it to the car wash and clean the crap...

ya know. as crazy as this may sound, the last oil change was done were I picked up the truck. This area that seems to have some oil was dry for about 200 miles. But anything can happen. I will check...
