I have a set of front pads and rotors for a Ford Ranger.

I purchased these for my 99 3.0 4x4 Ranger but decided to trade the truck in a few months ago, so they have been sitting in my garage....

I have done a ton of Tacoma frame recalls.
First pull the bed
Second remove the cab, remove cab bolts, brake lines, steering shaft and shifter linkage.

Put the cab on the lift and raise it off...

It had a misfire on 3 cylinders. A code should have been set regardless. I kinda lost faith in ford because of it

How could the cam syncro cause over heating? It has no affect on anything other then timing and shaft driven oil pump. What is the theory behind that?

Mine did that and it turned out to he piston slap. Only under load was a crankling noise. Replaced engine all strange noises gone
