2002 5-speed won't start

My 2002 4.0L 4x4 5-speed will not start. There are clues here to what is wrong, but I haven't figured it out yet. Hopefully one of you will know immediately what this is.

Re: My Hopping Clutch (is driving me crazy!)

Re: My Hopping Clutch (is driving me crazy!)

My Hopping Clutch (is driving me crazy!)

Here's the deal, my 2002 4.0 4x4 had 182k miles and orig clutch was working perfectly. The pilot bearing let go and couldn't shift it. My tech had to pull everything to get to it so I had a new...

Re: starting problems

I've heard from another member that the fuel pump runs for 2 seconds when the key is turned on. This makes sense since when I have this problem the first time I turn the key on and wait it rarely...

Re: starting problems

My 2002 always started immediately too until I just recently fixed a vacuum leak, changed the fuel filter, and ran a bottle of Gumout injector cleaner through the tank. All done in reverse order...

Re: Starting Issue, Kind of Weird

The "key on for several seconds before starting" works for me as well. I've not been doing that though so I can tell when it is acting up. It gave me problems when cold this morning and then again at...
