I test drove a new Colorado a few years ago, they were a sharp looking truck and I liked the cab. Getting ready to move to a different one myself soon but it will be an F 150.

Re: Towing a pop up

I use to pull a 16' aluminum fishing boat with mine on the bumper, once was enough.
My truck new didn't come with a receiver type hitch and I really wanted to go fishing that day and didn't have...

Re: Good year wrangler radials

I had decent luck with them, I put a third set on my truck a few years ago but one went out of round with about 40% tread left. I think it happened due to 3 holes and being plugged in close...

Re: '94 4x4 Issue

So you are proficient enough to have a transmission and transfer case out and back in within 20 minutes yet you're asking how to take a transfer case shift motor out or unwire it? It seems it would...

Re: 4x4 wheel bearing torque

My info shows 184 ft. lbs on a 2011.

Interesting that for the 2007 (which mine is) the spec is 162 ft. lbs. and I think it is the same bearing assembly.

Re: Towing Capabilities

The weight alone is one issue, the wind drag you have is another. I personally wouldn't want to tow it with a Ranger or Explorer of any engine size. When you factor in crosswinds from passing semi...

Re: I'm surprised at how quiet the 3.0 is at highway speeds

Depends on the rear axle gear ratio, at 65-70 my Ranger is turning about 2500 rpm's but I also have a 4.10 rear end ratio.
